The Agri innovation challenge 2020 was held by the South Asia AgTech Hub for Innovation (SAATHI) in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to bring innovation and newer techniques to the Agriculture sector in south Asia, keeping in mind the impact of COVID-19, social distancing regulations and the mass toll the virus took on the sector.
As grim as the premise was, it was a story that needed to be told, and a message that needed to be passed on to invite innovation and make the prospective participants feel like they are going to be a part of an important solution that needed to be built.
Everything from the transitions, to the elements used, were bespoke to the story being told in the scene. Using visuals both literal and abstract, illustrated and pictographic, and combining them together camera motions, voice over and sfx, this piece of animation is something that I truly loved building.
