SES contacted us at the Empty Crate company to create a video targeted at general store owners of tier 2 cities in Bihar, India to start selling the latest movies using an application called Mishtu app.
The app allows users to view the movies without any need for a data connection on their phones. For this video, I along with Akshita Wadhwana created the concept, highlighting the prestige and fame the store owners stood to gain by selling the latest movies of their favorite superstars to their customers, thereby becoming the superstars of their town. I then wrote the audio and visual script for the animation and we worked with Sattwik Biswas at Chilekotha Studios to animate the video. The characters, store, and the audio script were built specially to reflect the local ethnic dialect, look and feel with the colors chosen to be earthy and Indian by design.
With the animation now ready, I animated the app, did the voice over and composited the whole set together to build the video linked above.
